Memories from the Ukraine

We were fortunate to hear a sicha from Rav Shlomo Assaraf, former Chief Rabbi of the Jewish Community in Kharkov, Ukraine and Director of the Joseph K. Miller Torah Center there. Rav Assaraf spoke about his fascinating experiences in the Ukraine. We are grateful to the Miller Family, (parents of Talia (Miller) Eis (SFW' 05), Deena Miller (SFW '11) and Michal Miller (SFW '18)) for sponsoring Rav Asaraf whose sicha was in memory of the 29th yahrtzeit of the murder of their father and grandfather, Joseph K. Miller on Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie Scotland, in 1998.
